Richardson & Wrench
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
From the beautiful reserves of Lake Parramatta and World Heritage Listed Parramatta Park to the eclectic dining of the Eat Street precinct, award-winning shows at Riverside Theatres and passionate sporting culture of Rosehill Racecourse and Parramatta Stadium – home to Parramatta Eels and Western Sydney Wanderers, Parramatta has something for everyone. Residents of Parramatta are enjoying easy access to our local university, as well as an abundance of child care, Tafe colleges, government and private schools as well as Australia’s fifth biggest shopping centre, Westfield Shoppingtown Parramatta.
Named after its original inhabitants, the Burramatta people, Parramatta was Australia’s first viable colonial settlement and is now the second largest cultural and business hubs in New South Wales. This has seen Parramatta, as well as the surrounding suburbs of North Parramatta, Harris Park, Merrylands, Westmead, Carlingford and Rydalmere transform dramatically over the years.
Only 23 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, Parramatta is set to play a big role in Sydney’s future growth due to its many high density commercial and residential developments.
Parramatta is also on the Sydney Ferries RiverCat route which runs up the Parramatta River from Circular Quay to the Parramatta Ferry Wharf. North Parramata is dominated by Lake Parramatta and The King’s School, which together comprises almost 50% of the land area.
Richardson & Wrench offer a range of real estate and property in the Parramatta area that is both affordable and comfortable, with the wave of new townhouses and apartments attracting many first home buyers and investors.
